Although the plot appears straightforward, its progression feels protracted, with rival characters primarily introduced to manufacture artificial dramatic tension. While the fundamental narrative lacks significant flaws, a more focused and streamlined approach could substantially enhance viewer engagement.
The narrative centers on Jaemin, a freelance writer, and Nami, his university friend and fellow writer, who unexpectedly reconnect. During an evening of drinking in their apartment, conversations reveal Nami’s past popularity among women. Jaemin confesses his romantic feelings, leading to an unexpected intimate moment. Subsequently, Jaemin learns of Nami’s sexual column writing, which initially causes him discomfort. Despite both having no prior experience with male relationships, they ultimately become physically involved.
A pivotal moment occurs when Jaemin discovers Nami’s article detailing their intimate experience, feeling exploited and responding with harsh accusations. Nami’s reflective response, articulating vulnerability and curiosity, ultimately touches Jaemin and leads to reconciliation. The narrative introduces additional complications through supporting characters expressing romantic interest, including a female character attempting to disrupt their relationship and a male character who unexpectedly kisses Jaemin.
